Soft Washing for Surfaces That Shouldn't Be Blasted
Not every exterior surface belongs in front of a high-pressure nozzle. Soft washing is our default approach for siding, trim, and other materials where less pressure is the safer choice.

- Property and landscape protection
- Careful, even rinse
- Honest assessment before we start
Soft washing is the right call any time force would do more harm than cleaning would do good. Vinyl, painted siding, soffit, fascia, and older exterior finishes all fall in this category. Concrete usually does not.
The final method (pressure, technique, and approach) is selected per surface based on what it is made of and what condition it is in. If we are not sure something will come off cleanly, we tell you before we start.
Common questions
Soft washing is exterior cleaning done at a much lower water pressure than a typical pressure washer. It relies on the cleaning process itself instead of force to lift dirt and organic staining from surfaces that would be damaged by high pressure.
Pressure washing uses higher water pressure and is appropriate for durable surfaces like concrete. Soft washing uses lower pressure and is appropriate for siding, painted trim, and other surfaces that can be damaged by force.
Vinyl siding, painted wood siding and trim, soffit and fascia, and other exterior surfaces where excessive pressure would do more harm than good.
No. Any exterior surface will eventually pick up organic buildup again, especially on shaded sides of the home. Soft washing removes what is there today; regular cleaning is what keeps it looking good.
